Velto to chair the offshore windfarm London Array in 2023

Since early 2022, Velto has provided management services to Boreas to support CDPQ’s 25% investment in London Array, a 630 MW offshore wind farm located in the Outer Thames Estuary, United Kingdom.
London Array was the world’s largest wind farm at the time of its commissioning back in 2013 and, with its 175 wind turbines, remains still one of the most relevant landmarks of the global offshore industry. The asset is held by a partnership between Boreas – a subsidiary of CDPQ -, RWE, Orsted, and Masdar, whose representatives rotate the Chairmanship of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Lucas de Haro, Managing Director of Velto Renewables, will chair London Array in 2023 on behalf of Boreas.
